Periodic Table Battleship

  • 2 File Folders
  • Laminating Sheets (optional)
  • Laminator (optional)
  • 4 Printouts of the Periodic Table
  • Wet Erase Markers
  • Glue Stick
  • Binder Clip

  1. Print out Periodic Table
  2. Write A-I for each row down the left side of the table.
  3. Number the columns if they are not already numbered.
  4. Laminate
  5. Glue the laminated sheets to the top and bottom of the file folder.
  6. Use the binder clip to attach the two folders back-to-back
  7. Use Wet Erase Markers to mark 4 ships on the bottom sheet
    1. One 2-element ship
    2. One 3-element ship
    3. One 4-element ship
    4. One 5-element ship
  8. Mark your hits and misses on the top table to track your opponents ships.
  9. Mark your opponents hits and misses on the bottom table with your ships.

Here is a link to various printouts of the periodic table. I prefer the outlined color, but since I have a black and white laser printer I outlined it myself with colored pencils before laminating it. This can be done without laminating. You would just have to print out new tables every time you want to play.
