Need:
- 2 File Folders
- Laminating Sheets (optional)
- Laminator (optional)
- 4 Printouts of the Periodic Table
- Wet Erase Markers
- Glue Stick
- Binder Clip
Steps:
- Print out Periodic Table
- Write A-I for each row down the left side of the table.
- Number the columns if they are not already numbered.
- Laminate
- Glue the laminated sheets to the top and bottom of the file folder.
- Use the binder clip to attach the two folders back-to-back
- Use Wet Erase Markers to mark 4 ships on the bottom sheet
- One 2-element ship
- One 3-element ship
- One 4-element ship
- One 5-element ship
- Mark your hits and misses on the top table to track your opponents ships.
- Mark your opponents hits and misses on the bottom table with your ships.
Here is a link to various printouts of the periodic table. I prefer the outlined color, but since I have a black and white laser printer I outlined it myself with colored pencils before laminating it. This can be done without laminating. You would just have to print out new tables every time you want to play.
